BANKING

The government has set up the National Recruitment Agency (NRA) to administer the Common Eligibility Test (CET). The government has decided to hold the NRA CET exam, which is scheduled to begin in September 2022. The test results will be valid for three years and will be administered twice a year. The NRA is likely to take over the responsibility of conducting the tier-I online exam from three government recruitment bodies during the process. All candidates who pass the NRA CET will be required to sit for the subsequent stages/tiers of their respective exams, which will be held by the respective government bodies – IBPS, SSC, and RRB.
